Retired Superintendent- Southern Wells Community Schools
Steve is a retired school superintendent from Southern Wells Community Schools. Having served as superintendent in three school districts throughout Indiana, Steve has been a public servant in education for 32 years. Steve has served as a curriculum specialist and CTSO state advisor and state plan specialist in both the Indiana and Delaware Department of Education. In addition, Steve served as a chief financial officer/associate director for a non-profit organization for five (5) years. A proven leader in K-12 education, he is a strong operations professional with skills in curriculum development, financial management, technology, and strategic planning. Steve received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Ball State University along with an Educational Specialist Degree from Indiana State University. Steve lives in Huntington Indiana with Debbie, his wonderful wife of 37 years.
